Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Westmont Management Ltd. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.
The position of Hotel Manager at Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel is a senior leadership role, and this individual will be directly responsible for the operations and departmental profitability of one of the largest hotels of Westmont Hospitality in the center of Paris.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong leader who will direct the team from the front and drive the same engagement from the entire hotel team. With a passion for attention to detail they will deliver the hotel at its very best, day in, day out, without exception.

JOB SUMMARY
- To be responsible for the dynamic operation of all the hotel operational departments, ensuring facilities are kept to exceptional standards required
- To ensure the hotel team are fully trained to the expected high level and all direct reports are fully in line with the same goal.
- To drive profitability in the hotel through ensuring premium Rota efficiency and thorough control of all operational cost areas
- To drive the hotel revenue by leading the Managers and team members with the goal of safeguarding all upsell potentials and revenue streams are captured
People
- Fully accountable for the delivering of KPO’s, annual reviews and all subsequent requirements for direct reports
- To drive and take the lead role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures, and skills development
- Identify training needs within the team and deliver or source appropriate training
Quality
- To ensure the hotel is constantly presented at its best by a thorough attention to detail and installing the same culture into all team members
- To ensure quality measures are maintained throughout the company using such tools as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, etc.
Profit
- Ensuring all departmental Rota’s are operating at optimum efficiency
- All areas of costs to be well maintained and operated within the budgeted targets
- Pro-actively pursue all practices in-line with company environmental and energy saving initiatives
Strategy
- Take a pro-active approach to ensuring the continued long-term success of the Hotel
- Project manage any key strategic priorities.
- To be involved in the budget process and then subsequent delivering of the agreed strategy
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- An existing Hotel Manager or GM of a smaller hotel
- Large internationally branded hotel experience having been through their GM development programme.
- Proven leadership skills involving the ability to manage, develop and motivate a head of department team to achieve their objectives.
- A positive and motivated hands-on approach
- Proven display of style characteristics of proactive, independent, decisive
- Strong financial awareness which turns into real action
- Initiator and implementor of change
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience of the French hotel market.
