We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager who will be responsible for the safety, compliance, availability, and cost of the Fleet of our Last Mile delivery service within the assigned sub-region of Nothern-France and Blegium. This person will play a central role within the larger Fleet organization.

Key job responsibilities

  • Cooperation with the stations and other business functions to identify and consolidate vehicle demand especially in regards to peaks and ramps within the assigned sub-region of France. This will require technical expertise to balance tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed, and escalating to leadership when needed.
  • Evaluate health and safety of fleet. He will ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations by performing audits, providing feedback and trends to leadership.
  • Support product and programs launches in the assigned sub-region of France and Belgium. To be successful in this role, the Fleet Operations Manager is required to have strong operational knowledge, and understand the conditions of local markets.
  • Tactically collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, in order to solve operational needs. The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for executing a program with ambiguous deliverables and align stakeholders to achieve daily business needs. He will be required to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence, showing backbone while dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams successfully
  • Proven logistics or operations experience
  • A history of developing strong, value-added partnerships with 3rd party vendors
  • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
  • Ability to handle execution of multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail
  • Can work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Professional proficiency in English and French
  • Location is flexible across Nothern France and Belgium
  • Ability to travel across France 20-30% of time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Background in mobility services e.g. Car Lease/ Automotive company
  • Good technical understanding of automotive technology
