We are looking for the Entertainment Creative direction, a Musical Producer.
Within the Music Department, you will be responsible for the creation and production of music and soundtracks of all our artistic productions (shows, parades and event projects). Your main activities will be:
- Collect the show director’s ideas to understand the essence of the artistic project, the musical direction to take and propose musical compositions that bring the story to life.
- Composing, arranging, orchestrating and producing the music of our recorded or live shows, parades and special events.
- Completely complete the design and development phase of a musical project, under the control of its hierarchy.
- Plan and organize music production, all according to the highest professional standards.
- Implement all the necessary means for the sound recordings of these shows.
- Advise and collaborate with all the professions involved in the creation and production of our shows (show directors, producers, project managers, artists’ recruitment, singers etc.)
- Provide expertise and support to the entire department.
- Maintain the musical quality of the shows throughout the seasons.
- Participate in recruiting and finding new talents around the world.
- Monitor the quality and volume of work done by the team and consultants.
- Be proactive in terms of improvements to existing tools to improve recordings.
PROFILE:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry working in show development and operation of live shows.
Strong understanding of talent/industry, current technology and industry standards for all aspects of music production, editing equipment and post-production skills (theatrical, industrial, concert, touring, etc.) as applied to live shows
Instrumental orchestration, vocal writing and composition skills with knowledge of all musical styles; i.e. classical, jazz, rock, Latin, electro, etc.
Knowledge of music association legalities;
Strong knowledge of Disney product including Theme Park productions as well as movie scores
Proven ability to deliver on a project’s established scope, schedule and budget
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express creative ideas
Ability to work flexible hours – nights, weekends and holidays – including occasional travel
General computer skills including basic Microsoft Office products and industry specific music softwares
Strong knowledge of European and American musical culture and repertories
