Salesforce seeks an experienced Employee Relations, (ER) professional to lead the ER strategy and team in EMEA. The position sits within the global ER organization and reports to the SVP Employee Relations. This role will partner closely and collaborate with the Employment Legal team, EVP Employee Success, EMEA, the ES Business Partner team and other COEs in the region. The role sits on the global ER leadership team and will manage a team of seven.
The ideal candidate brings employee relations knowledge and experience to address and resolve highly complex people matters in accordance with Salesforce policies and Employee Relations’ mission. The ER function provides support to business leaders and managers on complex employee matters and in addressing underperformance. The team conducts investigations into employee concerns, mitigate risks, manages disciplinary processes and supports redundancy projects.
The Sr. Director of Employee Relations, EMEA while focused within region, will also have a global perspective as part of the ER global leadership team. The ER leader develops, maintains, and continuously improves the COE strategies to scale processes, ensure compliance with local laws and engagement with Works Councils.

- Deep understanding of the EMEA Regions and familiar with country specific employment laws and requirements
- Experience with Works Councils, Unions, and or Labor Relations
- Conduct high-risk/high-profile VP + investigations and respond to executive escalations
- Executive presence and ability to have courageous conversations to address matters at highest levels within Salesforce
- Achieve results in ambiguous situations and under pressure
- Analytical skills to interpret data to unlock stories, trends / hot spots and action on learnings
- Proficient in standard spreadsheet, presentation and collaboration tools
- Presentation skillset – ability to create clear and concise executive summary documents and presentations that highlight status, recommendations, drive discussion, summarize project details and influence.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology
- Significant years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations or Labor Relations
