We are currently looking for curious, hard-working and business driven Senior Account Executives with solid cloud platform selling knowledge and proven B2B sales and account management experience.

Salesforce’s Public Sector Business Unit (GPS) was created 4 years ago and is experiencing tremendous double-digit growth with great outlooks for the next Fiscal Years. You will be a part of the Local Government’s team (among 5 Account Executives working with you on other patches) managed by our dedicated Regional Vice President and responsible for the Local Government patch which is sharply growing.

(We are looking for Account Executives in the following areas : South France, West France and North East France (Can be based in Paris)

Your role & Impact

  • You will sell our entire portfolio of products (Core, Slack, Mulesoft and Tableau) and will be in charge of setting up the sales strategy with your dedicated extended team made up of Enterprise Commercial Sales (ECS) and Business Development Representatives (BDR).
  • You will manage entire sophisticated sales-cycles presenting to C-level executives the value of our full suite of applications.
  • You will forecast sales activities and revenue achievement, while crafting satisfied customers with our Customer Success Managers’ Team.
  • You will champion the salesforce vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives with our Solution Engineers’ team and Marketing Team.
  • You will co-animate your partners ecosystem with the help of our Alliances Team to build pipeline and foster touchpoints with customers and prospects.

Required experience:

  • Quota carrying Software or Technology sales and Account Management experience selling to Enterprise organisations in France
  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the competencies for the role
  • Must have demonstrable experience selling Business Applications to Enterprise organisations in their current role.
  • Shown leadership credentials to lead and manage an extensive virtual team, in support of overall Account vision, strategy and goals.
  • Focussed, vertical (industry specific) experience is an advantage as is knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable track record of success, achieving/exceeding quota in recent sales positions. A minimum of 5 years selling into Enterprise accounts and no more than four career moves in the last 10 years.
  • Preference given towards recent and successful experience in the software industry (Cloud experience would be a plus)
  • Evidence of relationship building skills with an ability to grow and nurture relationships.
  • Exhibits characteristics of self-starting, risk taking, and strive to succeed.
  • Must be proficient in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to map out and strategically define account plans for top tier accounts managed.
  • Ability to sell both an application and deployment of a platform.
  • Excellent at demonstrating C-level and LOB relationships.
  • Effectively optimizes internal and external networks.
  • Collaborates cross functionally internally to actualize deal strategy.
  • Ability to negotiate complex deals.
