The Global Enablement Team is a high performing team chartered with driving a culture of learning and performance. This involves owning the Enablement agenda end-to-end, to design, deliver and track enablement programs to accelerate talent development across products, industry/segment, role-based competencies, and operational excellence. The team works on the most pressing issues for the business and has hands-on involvement in making Salesforce a success.
The Global Field Enablement Team shapes and delivers world class live and virtual experiences globally from on-demand content to classroom and community based learning dedicated to enabling every seller, around the world to do the greatest work of their lives. We do this for skills, do my job, product and industry from onboarding onwards.
The successful candidate will be results oriented while driving high performance and demonstrate personal leadership by taking initiative across all aspects of the job while consistently looking for ways to improve their own region and team
Reporting into the Global Field Enablement organization, this person will act as the key business partner to the EMEA President and the EMEA COO. This role will be an experienced, trusted, strategic advisor, partnering with Operating Unit leaders to align enablement strategy with business priorities. This team is expected to deliver learning that supports localization and drives increased sales productivity and revenue growth . You will have a number of Enablement Business Partners, Sales Leader Excellence Coaches and Enablement Practitioners that will be responsible for dedicated Operating Units within EMEA.
In strong collaboration with the Sales Leadership, this candidate will ensure they and their direct reports deliver a best in class learning experience by understanding the key drivers of the business, determining the associated Enablement programs required to address gaps, and relentlessly implementing, tracking and adjusting based on results. Together they will influence the global enablement strategy by advocating through the voice of their region.
Main Responsibilities
- Develops an overall enablement strategy for the region and is responsible for the each business unit strategy along with the accountability for the success of that strategy
- Deep understanding of the EMEA landscape and unique go-to-market, talent and industry needs
- Sales fluent – ability to talk the language of the business and translate global enablement strategy to local needs
- Leverage local enablement and in field resource to land global initiatives in region
- Accountable to the EMEA President and EMEA COO of EMEA for all Enablement in region
- Manages a team of Senior Enablement Business Partners, Sales Leader Excellence Coaches and OU Practitioners
- Analyses and interprets key sales metrics and uses our intelligence tools to identify gaps & define the most relevant Enablement programs required to increase ACV
- Understands Sales Industry and GTM approach and uses knowledge to build credibility and trust with Sales Leaders
- Demonstrates thought leadership and expertise in latest enablement trends, tools, programs and technologies
- Manages stakeholders and partners closely with Sales Programs and Strategy to design and deliver an aligned Enablement plan
- Deep understanding of our Enablement catalog, navigates enablement requests and identifies suitable programs to support the Operating Unit needs
- Accountable to drive our large scale Global Programs acrossEMEA
- Achieves high quality standards and customer satisfaction scores on delivered programs
- Drives a blended learning model through the support of their OU Practitioners, Sales Leader Excellence Coaches and Academies in region to include classroom, webinars, self-paced, peer to peer and event-based training, leveraging conventional and new learning technologies
- Provides feedback to our Enablement Design teams and Field Program Success teams to ensure the voice of the field is heard and represented in our learning
Target Skills/Experience
- 15+ years experience in Sales, Enablement, or Learning & Development
- Experience as a sales leader
- Experience with Sales activities, with understanding of GTM motions
- Strong people leadership skills
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Demonstrated ability to execute on learning programs and drive outcomes
- Ability to influence, inspire and motivate a team to a strategic vision
- Data driven and an insightful thinking with an analytical skill set with the ability to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders
- Outstanding executive communication, collaboration and influencing skills at senior level
- Proven track record of producing and managing enablement events , driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs at scale
