Boeing is currently looking for a Senior Communications Specialist, based in Paris, France with regional responsibilities (France & North Africa).

Summary of Accountabilities:

Strengthen The Boeing Company’s corporate reputation in France working across all stakeholder constituencies.

  • Serve as the Company spokesperson and represent the company with media, customers, government organizations, opinion leaders and supplier-partners.
  • Support the business objectives of Boeing International, Corporate, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Boeing Defense Space and Security and Boeing Global Services, in France.
  • Help shape France market for growth and productivity. Develop, continuously realign and execute communications plans in support of Boeing International and Business Units’ objectives.
  • Lead Boeing France digital and social media presence.
  • Design and support effective communications to engage, connect and align employees in France with the company business plan and priorities.
  • Enhance Boeing’s corporate reputation in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia and support businesses in their activities in the region.
  • In close collaboration with the Country Leader, drive and support Corporate Citizenship communications activities to demonstrate engagement to France.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in communications roles with major international corporations. Significant experience working with all stakeholders, not only media. Similar international experience is an asset.
  • Fluent French and English, written and spoken.
  • Exceptional market-focused business judgment and strong strategic counselling skills.
  • Strategic vision and creativity matched with hands-on tactical approach. Excellent judgment, extreme discretion, high ethical standards and flexibility in work hours.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with business associations, strategic partners, customers as well as media.
  • Excellent media-relations and social media skills with significant crisis and issues management experience. In-depth knowledge of French media, the international business environment and France/US relations.
  • Superior communication, writing and presentation skills; ability to write strong executive speeches and articles for publication.
  • The ability to think provocatively and work collaboratively.
  • Results-driven with a strong bottom-line orientation.
  • A tolerance for organizational complexity and a very strong team player.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize many concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintaining keen attention to detail and follow-through

Typical Education and Experience.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years’ related work experience, 19 years’ related work experience, etc.)
