Job Description

Your Tasks:

Within the Research Department, your tasks will be to assist the Director of Research EMEA in the following:

  • Analysis of the audiences of the NBCUniversal Group channels as well as those of competitors in France
  • Monitoring the programming of NBCUniversal’s channels and our competitors in France
  • Analysis of the non-linear consumption of NBCUniversal’s channels in France via the new Universal+ offer
  • Monitoring of the commercial offerings of pay-TV distributors in France, Belgium and Switzerland: composition of channel packages, pricing entry points, promotional offers, etc
  • Monitoring advertising revenues: free and pay TV channels in France and DTC (direct-to-consumer) in France
  • Participation in the development and monitoring of qualitative and quantitative studies
  • Supporting the launch of new services in the EMEA region, such as the Universal+ on-demand television service
  • Analyze audience performance of NBCUniversal’s audiovisual programs in France, French-speaking countries and Africa, on linear TV and SVOD platforms

Qualifications

  • You have a (baccalaureate level) 4/5 year degree, such as ESC, Sciences Po, university, Master marketing or media management
  • You are passionate about audiovisual and new digital media
  • You are rigorous, organized with a real attention to detail, and familiar with quantitative analysis techniques
  • You must have an excellent command of Excel
  • Familiarity with Médiamétrie TV audience analysis tools (Restit TV) is a definite asset
  • A first internship experience in the audiovisual industry would also be an asset to your application, ideally within a pay-TV theme channel publisher
  • You have an excellent level of English, both written and spoken, as well as a great phone manner
