Opportunity

The opportunity is to join the Credit Solutions & Exotics Trading Desk in Paris. Our Global Credit Trading business is a global leading market maker in bonds, credit derivatives, exotic products and solutions. Traders, salespeople, structuring and research teams work collectively to generate ideas and provide markets to clients.

The Credit Solutions & Exotics business is responsible for driving, executing and risk managing non-flow, structured products and solutions within the credit asset class. It deals with a broad set of clients across emerging and developed markets including banks, distributors, insurance companies, corporates, asset managers and hedge funds seeking yield enhancement, hedging or access solutions in standardized or highly customized format. It deals with both asset and liability side solutions.

The business is global with a team presence in New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

  • Pricing, execution and risk management of credit index exotics products;
  • Generation of systematic trading strategies as well as quantitative relative value trade ideas within the credit derivatives market;
  • Originating of new transactions with active engagement with sales and clients to provide credit portfolio solutions tailored to client needs;
  • Driving the agenda for the development of innovative structures and payoffs, including working closely with structuring and quantitative research teams.

Requirements

  • Previous credit or fixed income trading experience is required;
  • Quantitative background and strong analytical skills;
  • Coding experience (Python)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
