Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company.The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.

In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Description:

The EMEA Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and University Talent Acquisitions Partner will lead the design, deployment, and execution of the University Talent Acquisition Strategy that enables the acquisition of top early talent required to meet business objectives for their assigned Leadership Development Program or business. This role will also lead the design, deployment, and execution of recruitment marketing strategies that enables the awareness, consideration, and acquisition of top talent required to meet business objectives across the enterprise. This leader will need to consistently communicate an authentic employer brand through outstanding execution of recruitment marketing, demonstrating strength in brand building, content strategies, digital marketing, social media, and data analytics.

This role will influence, lead outcomes, and communicate closely with program and hiring managers by sharing best practices and using a consultative, employee, and customer-focused approach to understand their needs and ensure the effective attraction, assessment, selection, and development of a high performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline in alignment with organizational and functional HR strategies.

This role will also advocate for best-in-class candidate experience to ensure the acquisition of high-caliber early talent by effectively utilizing new technologies to locate, engage, and attract prospective candidates. They will shape, connect, and lead resources to deliver on key projects. They will also maintain confidentiality and operate with poise and integrity in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment. Finally, they will drive organizational dedication and accountability to deliver operational excellence, business focus, and the overall development of our people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a trusted business partner who serves as a strategic talent advisor and connects internally across an array of stakeholders within aligned businesses or program areas
  • Sourcing and analyzing business data (internal), competitor and market research(external), and synthesizing and articulating the data into insights leading to strategic actions and initiatives resulting in a qualified and diverse pipeline of candidates to hiring managers
  • Conducting the initial assessment of all candidates leveraging interview guides, digital assessment tools, and reports, and leading debrief sessions
  • Efficiently and effectively evaluating the candidate’s academic and professional experience as well as technical and leadership competencies based on business-based interviews as well as determining screening and assessment criteria for the positions and recommending the best talent to the hiring managers and program managers
  • Coaching managers, programs, and campus teams on appropriate assessment tools and Behavioral Based Interviewing
  • Having the ability to develop a deep understanding of the New Consumer Health Company’s long-and short-term strategies and growth drivers and translating that knowledge into early talent attraction strategies for the aligned business/program
  • Having a reputation as an established professional on university campuses and in other early talent channels
  • Must possess deep college recruiting expertise and keep abreast of early talent recruiting trends
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to lead needs definition activities for aligned businesses or programs, understanding the talent demands, and developing strategies through data-based evidence to provide a continuous supply of qualified talent
  • Shaping, influencing, and driving the development and implementation of full-time and intern/co-op talent acquisition plans and strategies aligned with business objectives to assure a qualified, diverse pool of candidates
  • Fostering relationships with candidates over the course of their academic experience by acting as a career coach, building a high-performing, diverse, and sustainable talent pipeline
  • Constantly offering ideas for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrating an agile mindset through a high degree of comfort with change, positively embracing a fail-fast philosophy and continuously leveraging new technologies, showing tolerance for ambiguity, resilience, and ability to navigate in complexity
  • Researching, designing, and executing the recruitment marketing framework to support New Consumer Health Company’s regional and local talent attraction strategies to drive candidate quality across the region
  • Building brand awareness and engaging talent through creating, curating content, and strong storytelling aligned with the New Consumer Health Company’s narrative, EVP framework, and business unit/functional stories
  • Continuously staying at the forefront of recruitment marketing by doing competitive analysis and implementing new and disruptive methods
  • Aligning employer branding efforts to recruitment marketing efforts in the pull-through of specific narratives when executing recruitment marketing campaigns

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum of three years of HR, recruiting, university, marketing, communications, or related experience is required
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in an agile environment, utilize new technologies, handle multiple projects, and daily ad-hoc operational activities
  • Proficiency in the use of social media (i.e., LinkedIn/job boards, etc.) and software like MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Exceptional Talent Sourcing, Interviewing (Behavior Based Interviewing), and Candidate Assessment skills
  • Knowledge of HR recruitment practices including but not limited to compensation, global mobility, employment law, interviewing, and sourcing strategies
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insight
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Proven business partnering skills across all levels of management to lead, influence, and drive behavior change without formal authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Formal presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated track record of elevated account management and consulting skills
  • This role will require travel up to 30% domestic travel – visiting internal customers and university campuses

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Taleo or a similar applicant tracking system is preferred
  • University recruiting experience preferred
