Rolling Meadows, Illinois, The American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) is seeking a  Digital Marketing Manager  to work with all stakeholders, internal and external, to develop, plan and execute marketing strategies through various digital marketing channels. Identifies and implements emerging trends and technologies to support the business objectives of the organization. Ensures content and delivery methods are current and conform to best practices. This job operates in a flexible work arrangement with an expectation to be onsite 2 days a week. A qualified candidate may also support projects that are comprised the Association (AANS), the Foundation (NREF) and the data registry arms (NPA)
Essential Job Duties

Develop and manage digital marketing strategies to optimize customer acquisition programs, drive revenue and member engagement, and advance the association’s overall mission.
Lead and manage the delivery of digital messages through various marketing channels to meet product and organizational goals.
Email, social media, digital advertising, web and mobile content
Manage digital advertising channels, messages, vendors and campaigns to optimize ROI.
Search engine marketing (SEM), Google Ads, programmatic and other programs
Oversee the development and delivery of email communications .
Manage the enterprise’s email platform (Informz)
Template development, automated campaign management, newsletters and eblasts
Integrations with membership database (Nimble AMS)
Development of dynamic and personalized fields
Manage organic and paid social media strategy to meet member and organizational needs.
LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, other
Participate in the development of data-driven, dynamic marketing campaigns and strategies.
Advise on best practices and workflows for digital media, email, social media and next-gen communication vehicles.
Ensure that the organization’s mission and vision are clearly communicated through digital channels and maintain brand integrity throughout communications.
Identify, track and report on analytics for websites, email, social media and other digital communication platforms.
Continue the development of the organization’s digital marketing capabilities and provide recommendations based on industry trends and internal data.
Assist in the development of digital creative assets.
Videos, banners, animated graphics, etc.
Performs other job related duties, as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related field required.
5-10 years of marketing experience; minimum 4 years with digital communication channels and social media.
Experience working with analytics reporting, marketing products and automated campaign development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing staff preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, Email, CRM/AMS systems, Google Analytics (UA, GA4), Google Tag Manager, Digital Advertising, Organic and Paid Social Media, Google Advertising.
