Great Falls, Montana, The Marketing Specialist reports to the Manager of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for supporting Benefis Health System’s Corporate Marketing and Communication efforts with an emphasis on community relations. FLSA: EXEMPT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This person will collaborate with other Marketing and Communications employees to plan and implement various marketing initiatives across a variety of media outlets, including digital, print, TV, and radio. Develop thorough campaign plans, including media channel breakdowns and timelines Track key performance metrics for campaigns using charts and/or dashboards Stay current with industry, competitive, and market trends and assist in creating strategies and campaigns that stay current with the market Works with Vice President of Communications and Business Development to develop annual community relations and outreach strategy. Coordinates review, processing of payments, and communication of approval/denial of donation and sponsorship requests for the system. Lead social media efforts for the Marketing department. Collaborate with other Marketing and Communications employees to create content, tag, and publish intranet content. Work with stakeholders in the organization to create an annual event calendar, which should include expo/vendor fair participation, public engagements aimed at driving demand for specific services, provider speaking engagements, outreach events, sponsored events, and other Benefis Health System-hosted events. Responsible for coordinating all marketing-oriented events for the health system, including expo and vendor fair participation, as well as public engagements aimed at driving demand for specific services. This includes provider speaking engagements and other Benefis Health System-hosted events. The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for the development and implementation of a call-to-action strategy for each event. This means that the event planner must work to collect event attendee contact information and then find ways to follow up with event attendees with additional relevant marketing materials, increasing the likelihood of event attendees ultimately utilizing specific Benefis services. Responsible for ensuring that events are promoted sufficiently in advance, collaborating with Marketing & Communications Graphic Designers. Provide relevant marketing materials and promotional items, increasing the likelihood of event attendees ultimately utilizing specific Benefis Services Project manages major departmental initiatives to ensure their completion. Track approved event expenses and receipts using a shared expense tracking system. Collaborates with Marketing & Communications Graphic Designers and other relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate, Benefis-banded event collateral. Assists with coordinating Benefis involvement in Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) and related CHIP committees. Writes annual Community Benefit Report. Develops and coordinates plans with the appropriate Benefis stakeholders to establish and maintain important strategic partnerships in the community, region, and state. Coordinates strategic public speaking opportunities for Benefis leaders to educate and engage key community groups with major initiatives at BHS. This includes clinical groups presenting at major national conferences. Works with appropriate stakeholders to make sure all outreach efforts are aligned and coordinated with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Legislative Affairs, Foundation, and Regional Relations strategies, among others. Coordinates Benefis participation in local health fairs and sponsored events. Manage the purchase and distribution of Marketing swag items within a predefined budget. Collaborate with Marketing’s Graphic Designer and other relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate, Benefis-branded event collateral. Produces targeted, specific emails to maintain direct, positive relationship with key organizations, individuals, and the general public. Provides back-up editing support for all communications produced by the department. Provides back-up for the writing and production of regular internal communications, including This Week @ Benefis. Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects, with both short-term and long-term deadlines. Three (3) years professional work experience preferred.
