Old Dominion University’s Department of World Languages and Cultures invites applications for a part-time teaching position in its Japanese program. The department primarily seeks an instructor for its first-year courses: Beginning Japanese (JAPN 111) and Intermediate Japanese (JAPN 212)

Requirements: MA or higher academic degree in Japanese Studies, Japanese language, or related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Japanese. If these requirements are not met, candidates must demonstrate significant professional experience and/or substantial evidence of teaching excellence within the field.
